Privacy policy.

This policy explains information processing through val.id by PT Virtue Digital Indonesia (VALID), including the contact form, manhours calculator, proposal requests and browser privacy choices.

Linked product websites, Careers and other services may have their own policies. Privacy choices on val.id do not automatically apply to those domains. This policy does not replace processing terms in separate project or service agreements.

• Website visits: request and technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser information, time and the requested page address.
• Contact form: the name, company, email, topic and message you submit through Web3Forms. The provider may process technical information for delivery and spam prevention.
• Calculator: scope choices and language. Answers are saved in the browser only if Preferences is allowed. Calculating or printing an estimate does not by itself submit answers to VALID.
• Proposal requests: name, company, email, project title, optional context, scope, submission permission, reference, estimate/template versions, PDF and email-processing records.
• Optional analytics: visit and page-performance measurements through Cloudflare Web Analytics after Analytics permission is given.

Provide only information relevant to your request. These website forms do not ask for passwords, payment-card numbers or identity documents.

We use request information to answer questions, prepare proposals and discuss the requirements you raise. Relevant bases may include pre-contract steps at your request, performance of an agreement, or consent where required. Requesting a proposal does not automatically enrol you in a marketing list.

Optional browser preferences and analytics use consent that you may withdraw. Site delivery, security, abuse prevention and legal obligations are separate purposes; their processing bases follow the relevant need and applicable law, including legitimate interests that must take your rights into account.

Reading this policy or continuing to browse does not grant permission for optional analytics, new marketing uses or other purposes requiring separate consent.

We offer the same choices to all val.id visitors. Optional technologies stay off until you allow them. Choose Reject optional, Manage preferences or Accept all in the banner; reopen Privacy settings at any time.

• Essential: security, remembering privacy choices and support for proposal delivery you request, including duplicate prevention. These functions do not enable optional analytics.
• Preferences: local storage of calculator answers and language. Without permission, answers remain available on the active page. Withdrawal removes the saved copy without clearing answers you are currently working on.
• Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics sends measurements after permission and does not use analytics cookies. Withdrawal blocks subsequent sends. Information already sent cannot be recalled through browser settings. If re-enabled, analytics starts on the next full page load.

Choices are stored as valid-privacy-v1 without contact information; calculator answers use valid-manhours-draft-v1. If browser storage is unavailable or the choice expires, optional uses stay off. Changing this policy page’s language does not create a new preference record.

Cloudflare may issue security cookies when its protection requires them. For example, __cf_bm expires after 30 minutes of inactivity; challenge-cookie lifetimes such as cf_clearance follow protection settings. Security cookies are distinct from optional browser analytics. This website does not configure advertising trackers.

When you submit the proposal form, the system recalculates the estimate from the scope, creates a PDF and prepares separate emails for your submitted address and the VALID team. The form’s delivery permission is separate from cookie or analytics choices.

Rejecting optional uses does not prevent you from viewing estimates, printing results, sending questions or requesting a proposal. Acceptance by the sending mail server does not guarantee arrival in an inbox or that a message was read. Email copies follow each recipient’s mailbox management.

Proposal records are accessed using dedicated access credentials supplied during the request flow. Avoid sharing those credentials with unauthorized parties.

Necessary information may be processed by the VALID team and providers supporting the relevant service. Cloudflare handles site delivery, protection and permitted analytics. Web3Forms receives and processes contact forms. VALID’s configured email provider processes proposal delivery and related communications.

Web3Forms may store submissions and use infrastructure and spam-filtering providers. Its processing is not limited to forwarding email. Provider terms, plans and account configuration govern the relevant handling; VALID’s proposal-system retention does not automatically apply to Web3Forms.

Other disclosures may be necessary to meet legal obligations, respond to lawful authority requests, protect rights and security, or handle business changes under applicable law. Changed purposes requiring consent are not treated as agreed merely because they appear in this policy.

We distinguish retention by record type and the system handling it. The following summary explains periods applied by website features and their limits.

A session-storage key is created after submission. Browser session restoration may preserve it.

Contact messages, email and logs

Separate for each service

Web3Forms submissions, mailbox copies, infrastructure logs and backups do not follow the proposal system’s 90-day deletion. Retention depends on purpose, obligations, and the relevant service terms and settings.

Retention applies per system. Deleting one copy does not automatically delete copies in another system or mailbox.

Records may need to be retained for legal obligations, dispute resolution or relevant lawful needs. Contact us to ask about a particular record or request deletion. Removing information from the proposal system does not recall emails already sent.

Service providers may operate infrastructure outside Indonesia. For example, Web3Forms states that it operates from India and uses infrastructure providers in multiple regions. Processing locations depend on the service and its configuration.

Cross-border personal-data transfers must follow applicable legal requirements, including relevant protections and, where necessary, separate consent. Reading this policy, accepting cookies or submitting a form is not blanket permission for every possible transfer. Contact us for information about how your data is handled.

The website uses HTTPS. The proposal flow validates information on the server, limits requests, keeps records outside public website assets and requires access credentials to retrieve documents. SMTP delivery uses an encrypted connection with certificate verification.

No transmission or storage method is entirely risk-free. If you suspect unauthorized access or a security problem involving information you submitted, contact hello@val.id promptly. Incident handling and notifications follow applicable obligations.

Subject to applicable law and its conditions, you may request processing information, access or a copy, correction, updates, ending or restricting processing, and deletion. You may withdraw consent for processing that relies on it. Rights concerning portability, objections to automated decisions and remedies apply under their legal conditions.

Send requests to hello@val.id with the relevant email address and proposal reference if available. Describe the information or action concerned. We may request proportionate information to verify your authority before providing access or making changes.

Requests are handled under applicable legal deadlines and requirements. Certain rights may have exceptions, including the need to meet legal obligations. Privacy settings directly control optional browser uses; requests involving server or mailbox records need to be handled through the contact above.

This website presents services for professional and organizational needs. Its forms are not designed to intentionally collect children’s information. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that a child has submitted information, contact us so its handling can be reviewed under applicable law, including parental or guardian consent requirements where necessary.

We may update this policy to reflect changes to services or applicable requirements. The latest version and revision date are available on this page. Significant changes may be accompanied by appropriate notices; new purposes requiring consent will require a new choice before activation.
